Searching HereAndOk Book Reviews

To search the HereAndOk book reviews, enter what you want to search for into the Search text box and then click on Search. You can press Alt-S as a shortcut to clicking on the Search button. HereAndOk uses case-insensitive searches. That is, the Web site does not pay attention to whether a letter is upper case or lower case. Thus, you can search for reviews of books that are written by Frederick Forsyth by entering "Forsyth", "forsyth", or even "FORSYTH". You can search HereAndOk Book Reviews by author or by book title. By default, the list of book reviews is sorted by author. You can request that the list be sorted by title. To control how the list is sorted, use the Sort by radio buttons below the Search text box.

The easiest way to search for book reviews by author is to just type some or all of the the author's name into the Search text box. You must enter at least three characters. HereAndOk will search its authors for any that have a name containing the characters you entered. Authors are known by First Name, Middle Name and Last Name, though many authors' middle names are not included. So, for example, you could search for book reviews for books by Tom Clancy by entering "tom" or "clan" into the Search text box. You could search for book reviews for books by Orson Scott Card by entering "ors", "scott" or "card" into the Search text box. To the right of the Search text box are two radio buttons. Select the Title radio button. Then click on Search or press Alt-S.
